  I tell all my friends to go here!! Right across from my college and we just love these guys. I love that they check fluids without charging! And Connie explained everything to me in ways I can easily understand as a girly with ZERO car knowledge. She even talked to my dad who was very happy with how they treated me. So easy to be scammed as a young woman but we LOVE this place!

  I had an amazing experience at Express Oil Change. I was there for my Emissions Test. Connie assisted me, and she was incredibly friendly and helpful! She must have seen that my license plate tag was expired because she mentioned to me that the Kroger down the street had a machine that prints tags on the spot. Connie telling me this was a lifesaver as I was really stressed out about my expired tag. She is such a thoughtful and kind person! I would definitely recommend this shop!

  Let me give a smooth shoutout to the entire staff at this location at 481 US-29 in athens. Ms. Connie is the bomb.com.   I had an amazing experience thanks to Dakota and the entire team! From the moment I walked in, everyone was respectful, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me. Dakota went above and beyond — he walked me through every step, explained everything clearly, and made sure my car got exactly where it needed to be without any stress on my end. You can tell this shop works as a true team because everyone pitched in and treated us with kindness and patience. It’s rare to find customer service like this anymore, and I’m incredibly grateful for how smoothly everything was handled. Highly recommend — they truly go the extra mile!

  I suspected from the moment I called this was going to be a positive experience, as the person who answered the phone, Dakota, was kind, professional, and helpful. I went in to get an emissions test, which few places in Athens do (the other Express Oil location does not). I also asked them to look at my tire, which I thought might have a nail because it was leaking air. The emissions test was reasonably priced at $25. The associate I spoke with informed me that there was a new kiosk at the Kroger across the street where I could do my renewal immediately instead of dealing with the DDS, which saved me a good bit of time. As for the tire, they discovered that the source of the problem was a bent valve stem, which they repaired FREE of charge. They also informed me that, had it been a nail, they couldn't have repaired it due to the tire's age anyway; that's the kind of honesty and attention to detail I look for in a mechanic. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.
