- APAshley Powell5 days ago5.0I had the pleasure of having an excellent experience with Fina this morning. Unfortunately another location inadvertently gave me the wrong part after transposing the last 2 digits of a part number. I was over 45 minutes away from home and that store, and the mechanic was actively working on my car. Thanks to Fina's excellent customer service, I was able to have the work completed. Despite the mixup by the other AAP, Fina took ownership of the problem which I greatly appreciated. Fina is an asset to AAP and should be valued as such!

Julz was very patient and helped me to get the correct wipers as well as put them on. He was very knowledgeable about the wipers and made sure I got the correct ones. Very good experience at this location. Thank you 😊

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
