But this past Saturday, I had the best experience here that I've ever had at any auto store. I purchased a car battery on Friday that ended up having some issues between the charge and the necessary power. I brought it back on Saturday morning, and was greeted by Vincent Miller. He told me at first that they might not be able to return it based on policy. But after explaining the situation, Vincent worked tirelessly to figure out a way to take care of me and get me the battery I needed, despite the computer system not wanting to cooperate due to the previously mentioned policy. He eventually was able to find a workaround, and I left with a new battery that worked perfectly as soon as I got home and installed it. This kind of dedication to taking care of customers is rare, nowadays. I'm sure the store might take a tiny hit in profit due to him taking care of me. But I can guarantee that his actions have made me a loyal customer to this store specifically, and the long-term business I will be giving to it will more than make up for this short-term loss. If only so many other businesses understood the value of truly taking care of their customers, like Vince did, they'd see how much more profit could be made from those happy customers.
