Both the store manager and Warren who was his associate handed the volume very professionally. I bought a battery and some wiper blades for my 4Runner and was not interested in trying to have the battery installed because it was like 20° outside. Warren offered to install the wiper blades for me and I did not decline. The showroom was very clean and organized. I am deathly not automotive inclined but would highly recommend this location and its staff for all your basic automotive questions or parts.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
