- PDPaul DeuschleNov 14, 20251.0BAIT and SWITCH! I had a coupon for $26 off a Full-Service Oil Change at the Yulee Express Oil, so I went in. I showed my coupon to the mechanic as soon as I pulled into the garage—he didn’t say a word. After he started draining my oil, I mentioned that I wanted a “blend oil” change. That’s when he told me the coupon was only for synthetic oil. The coupon never states that—it clearly says Full Service. I then brought up the $20 coupon on their website that says “$20 Off Any Full-Service Oil Change.” Again, I was told it only applies to synthetic oil. Ironically, my receipt for the blend oil change shows that I received a FULL-SERVICE OIL CHANGE. So apparently the service does qualify—just not when you try to use a coupon. It wasn’t worth arguing over $20, but my wife and I will never bring our cars back there. To make matters worse, they have a huge checklist on the receipt showing items they supposedly inspected, and at least half of them were never checked at all BUT out “OK” on the receipt. In conclusion, I simply don’t trust Express Oil and will be taking my business elsewhere. Beware. PART 2********* The company emailed me saying they wanted to resolve the matter, I once again gave them my info but since then I haven’t heard anything from them regarding compensation. It seems like their management operates just as poorly as their stores. STAY AWAY

They showed me my dipstick to show the new oil. All in 8 minutes. They didn’t try to upsell me like other places. This place is awesome. Hats off to Dylan and the guys below.

First they never asked what grade oil I wanted and were automatically going to put in the highest price/grade they had but I didn’t need. They didn’t check half the stuff on their list they said they checked. I knew I needed an air filter because my alert was on. I had to ask about it then they said they recommended I replace it without ever looking at it. Lastly I had a $26.00 coupon and they said they had already applied it. After I drove off and looked at my receipt they only gave me a $20.00 discount. I think I am going to try somewhere else for my next oil change. UPDATE low engine light came on this morning. Should not be because it is practically a brand new truck. Took it to a mechanic and found out the oil filter was not screwed on properly and needed 2 1/2 quarts of oil. I will never go back to this place ever again.
