  On January 21, 3026, I went to Jiffy Lube 5367 Red Bug Lake Road, Winter Springs,FL 32708, for routine oil change and check of fluid levels. This vehicle has always been serviced by Jiffy Lube since the original manufacturers service expired. I had the oil changed and engine flushed as a recommendation. A few days after the car began to shudder, a symptom of the torque converter issue. I the took the vehicle to another Jiffy Lube in Woodbridge, VA. I explained that it is my strong and sincere belief that the wrong fluid was placed into the transmission during routine filling of fluids at the recent oil change at Jiffy Lube. I pulled the transmission fluid dip stick and showed the technician. I also took a picture of the fluid. The fluid was clearing and a yellowish color not a red or brown/black for Dextron VI fluid. I again stated that during the recent service the wrong fluid was placed into the transmission based on color and shuddering of the torque converter. Based on different Jiffy Lube facilities nothing they could do as they are all franchise facilities. I then paid for a complete transmission fluid flush and replacement of fluid. The car still has shuttering. I want Jiffy Lube to pay for the initial estimate/evaluation of the transmission and torque converter and subsequent repair costs for damaged parts. I had also requested that Jiffy Lube conduct additional transmission fluid flushes as recommended by several articles that I have read as a possible remedy for the wrong fluid placed into a transmission. I was told they would not perform this possible fix. I have photographs of the transmission fluid before the transmission flush and after I paid to have the transmission flush. The differences are remarkable as every mechanic could tell that the before flush photograph is not old transmission fluid which would be dark brown or black and not a clear yellowish color. Again, I am asking for the transmission be examined by a certified transmission facility. Photos before and after. Clearly the new fluid is reddish the old fluid is a clear yellowish color. Transmission fluid turns brown to black not clear yellowish.

  Don't go here for anything unless you want things leaking from your car or broken. They cross threaded my oil drain plug that it was leaking oil. Had to get a new one. Then they tightened our other car's oil drain plug so much that it cannot be removed easily. All while costing more than everywhere else.
