  I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Schumacher Volvo, which fell far below what I would expect from a luxury brand. I purchased my XC90 brand new from this dealership in 2024 - I was excited to have a safe, reliable car for my young family. Unfortunately, I have numerous issues with the car between the check engine light randomly coming on as well as needing to have the vehicle towed to the dealership three separate times for issues such as "engine coolant system malfunctioning" and most recently "12v battery critical charing fault". Instead of addressing the issue with urgency or accountability, the Schumacher service team was dismissive—at one point even saying “this is how some Volvos are,” which is completely unacceptable. Loaner cars are not provided nor is a rental car credit in these emergency situations, so be prepared to miss work or cancel whatever plans you may have had. In this most recent tow, the service representative Hansel was extremely dismissive, rude, and treated my husband and I as if we were being unreasonable and minimized the fact that we had to have the car towed in due to this error message (for the third time). There was no sense of accountability or willingness to take ownership of the situation, and notably, no apology was offered at any point. This lack of basic customer service is especially surprising given the premium reputation the dealership aims to uphold. I understand that not every service visit goes perfectly, but how issues are handled makes all the difference. In this case, the experience left me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both communication and customer care within the service department.

  I have used this dealership a few times to service my 2022 V90 CC. Service quality is very good. No issues. The lounge area is clean with ample sitting room and the service advisors are polite. Service costs however are high. I live in NH and Florida and have experienced service at both locations. Being the only game in town, service costs at Schumacher Volvo are substantially higher than in NH. Yesterday, I had an oil change, tire rotation and the wipers replaced for a cost of over $ 400 including shop fees. I also had the dealer replace the cabin filter due to a moldy smell in the AC. That was an additional $ 200.00. The cabin filter had been replaced last year already for the four year service. This dealer will also atempt to sell unneeded services like oil additives, fuel injection cleaning etc. so use caution and prudence. In NH, Volvo is an upmarket alternative to Subaru and I have been buying Volvos for the past 20 years. In PBC, it seems to me that Volvo is attempting to compete with the dealers of German automakers for service costs.
