Two years ago, I purchased what I was told was the best battery in the store with a 4-year warranty. This morning, when the battery failed, I went back expecting it to be replaced under warranty. Instead, I was told that the store never carries that brand. That is when I realized I had actually been sold a used battery instead of a new one. When I tried to explain this to the manager, he was dismissive, disrespectful, and even accused me of trying to scam the store. His behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. It is clear that employees at this location are misleading customers by selling used batteries as new, while charging full price and promising a warranty that they do not honor. I demand this issue be investigated immediately, Customers should not be scammed and disrespected for trusting your business.

People like logan, really make the world a better place. He is an asset to his company.And I hope they truly appreciate him. After leaving the auto zone on Forest Hill and Jog, highly disappointed after buying a battery and being told they were going to change it to then telling me they don't have the proper tools to remove my battery. At this point i'm hot, i'm sweaty, aggravated and upset.. He told me I should keep the battery and go to his mechanic, who would do it for a low price. I returned the battery and left. I decided to come to this location where Logan is, and just buy the battery and pay someone to replace it. Logan then proceeded to ask if I would like him to change it. And I told him how the other autozone said they couldn't, instead of him saying okay and dusting his hands with me, he proceeded to ask me if i would like him to try and at this point I was desperate and let him do it.And boy, was, I glad I did. He was quick, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Logan was extremely professional and helpful. He deserves a raise and a higher position, he would be a great manager, if he isn't one already. Thank you Logan !!!

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
