- JDJason DickmanJan 3, 20261.0I relocated to Nokomis, FL from PA last May and have since been a regular patron of this Tommy's car wash. The Tommy's conveyor system effectively accommodates both our Mercedes SUV and C8 Stingray, and I generally find the facility to be excellent for car washing. However, in early December 2025, during a wash of my C8 Corvette, the wash system's felt straps or bristles entered the driver's side air inlet, resulting in damage to a trim piece and quarter panel. Elias and Victor directed me to Electro Plating Auto Body in Venice, FL, assuring me that the damage to the C8 would be reviewed and repaired. Regrettably, this has not occurred. An estimate was submitted by the body shop to Tommy's, but for reasons unknown, they are disputing the damage and have not approved the repairs for the C8. I have made multiple attempts to meet with Victor at the office to discuss this matter, but each time I am informed he is upstairs but not available to speak to me. I have sent multiple emails and phone calls but no one has the courtesy to reach out with information or an update. It appears Tommy's may believe the repair estimate is excessive or that the vehicle sustained pre-existing damage. The documented photographs clearly illustrate damage to both the trim part and quarter panel. The vehicle had no prior damage, and the estimate was provided by the body shop recommended by Tommy's. We have been very patient but we are now beyond FRUSTRATED as the car sits in their body shop, dismantled and waiting for someone inside Tommy's to approve repairs. Can anyone from Tommy's senior management or owners help us???
