  Not only did the tech make me feel as though I was poisoning my engine with my air intake filter by not having it replaced. He told me that my brakes were in the red and that if I didn’t change them THAT day, I would be putting other drivers and myself in danger. He tried to charge me $1,400 for the job and tried to guilt me several times into changing them. “Are you sure? You could hurt someone?!” I have since taken my vehicle to two other auto mechanics and they both have said there is zero reason to change my brakes. They are at 50% and they last a long time. So let me just say Jiffy Lube, you lost a customer. I don’t take kindly to people trying to take advantage of others. It is already an extremely expensive time we live in, to have sexist, arrogant men prey on a woman who may not have an increased knowledge in car anatomy. PS-if they were to change my brakes at the other auto mechanic, it would’ve only cost me $800.

  Went in for an oil change, dude tried to upsell me a complete brake pad change for $1400 claiming they were near failure and past failure in the case of my front pads. I said "so you're telling me if I try to drive the five miles it takes back to my house my brakes will fail?" and he made it seem like that would indeed be the case. I told him I couldn't do it because I couldn't afford it and after some back and forth about it he went "You don't got no job?" 😂 Crazy out of pocket thing to say. What's worse is that he gave me an estimate dated YESTERDAY MORNING for all this. I just got my tires replaced last month and my brakes weren't even in the yellow then so they're really out here trying to play in your face. Will not be returning.

  After having the oil changed in my vehicle here, I experienced a terrifying and dangerous situation while driving with my five-year-old child in the car. While merging onto Gandy Boulevard, a high-speed roadway, my car suddenly failed to accelerate, forcing me to swerve onto the shoulder to avoid being hit. A large cloud of white smoke began pouring from my vehicle, and the car behind me had to swerve into another lane because the smoke was so intense it obstructed visibility. Upon inspection, it was clear that the vehicle had been overfilled with oil and oil had been spilled throughout the engine compartment. We tried calling the store multiple times and got an AI bot that wouldn't connect us to a real person. So I drove my husbands car to the shop to speak with someone. When I raised concerns and showed photos of my vehicle, the technician told me, “This is not overfilled, it’s higher because you opted for an engine additive,” and also stated, “We commonly set jugs on the engine and that is why you are seeing oil splatter on the engine.” These explanations were not truthful and directly contradicted what was evident. I have since made multiple attempts to contact the company for accountability or assistance and have received no response. This situation was dangerous for my child, myself, and other drivers on the road. At the moment my car cannot be driven and I will have to pay out of pocket to tow it to a mechanic and hope and pray there is not irreversible damage. I've attached photos. I cannot, in good conscious, recommend this place to anyone.
