I thought since I was close by and knew it would be any day my battery wouldn't start, I would stop by and get a new one. We'll, I'm standing in the open in front of all the empty unoccupied registers when a kid in his 20's appears at one on the end working on the screen for what seem like he was already working on something else. I kept looking over at him to see if he would acknowledge me or say "I can help you down here". Nothing came out of his mouth nor a nod other than me acknowledging can you help me. I do understand that generation and how they don't take any extra incentive or effort to apply the basic skills in customer service. Within the breif conversation with him about getting a new battery, he never move or offer to show me the one last detail he was needing even when I said "I don't know how to find it". I could understand if the store was busy but there was just me in the store. Needless to say, I walked out not even attempting to get the last detail he was needing and headed to Auto Zone. I know they provide good and better one on one customer service.

- DGDouble Trouble GarageAug 1, 20251.0I called this Auto Zone thonotosassa to ask if they had a certain size freeze plug in stock, I know this is a new auto zone and it's close so I wanted to give it some buisness. I was asked for year make and model, I told the lady it was for a tractor but didn't require a model because they were universal and they probably had a pack of them somewhere, and that they only go by size, she was so confused, then asked for a part number, I said no then I was put out on extended hold until a gentleman was on the phone, I told him the same thing and he wanted a part number and I told him the same thing that there should be a box with a assortment of them they are universal, he said they didn't have anything like that, I told him that's a shame goodbye and hung up. I really don't think either one knew what a freeze plug is to be honest. Right after then I called Auto Zone zephurhills and said the same thing, the guy checked with no further questions but had none in stock, I called 2 more Rival stores and with no questions they looked up quickly and one even ordered the size I needed.
