We decided to check with Advance Auto down the road & damn those ladies there were not only fully capable of helping with a new battery but they installed it within minutes. I ended up also getting new wiper blades including one for the back again installation took minutes. Women in the auto parts store isn’t something I’d expect but those two women were killing it. They are so full of knowledge and helped us get back on the road. Definitely an Advance Auto customer for life! Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
