- MTMay TurnerDec 30, 20255.05:15pm on Dec 29th, I walk out to my driveway and see my back tire is completely flat. I throw some air in with my Ryobi compressor and frantically google who is nearby. We used to go to Mavis in Oldsmar, but having moved, I didn't know what was around. I saw another Mavis close by so I headed over. By the time I got there, it was about 30 minutes until they closed. They had a full garage but the man behind the counter, Guy, said he thought they could still get me in as they were finishing up the other vehicles. We chatted while I waited, talking about how I just moved back to the area and how much it's changed over the decades. He was very friendly and before I knew it, my tire was patched. (I had a nail in it.) As they pulled the car out, I went to settle the bill and Guy says, "Happy New Year, no charge." I thank him and his team and wish them all a very Happy New Year. I'm glad to see this location is just as helpful and friendly as the other one. It's very comforting to know I have a place nearby I can turn to when I have an emergency.
