    Let me be clear: I will never do business with Tire Choice again. The location at 3603 S. Dale Mabry Hwy, managed by Gabrielle Gomez, has demonstrated a pattern of poor service, negligence, and what appears to be blatant price gouging. I had been a loyal customer for years and recently purchased four tires from this location in March. Based on past experiences, I expected fair treatment. What I received instead was the complete opposite. On Easter, I discovered a screw in one of my tires and brought my vehicle in first thing Monday morning. After leaving it for repair, I drove my wife’s car to work—only to have another tire warning appear within minutes due to a separate screw. Later that day, I returned to pick up my first vehicle and was immediately hit with a $47 charge for a simple tire plug—nearly double what other local shops charge for the same basic service. It didn’t stop there. When I went to retrieve my vehicle, it had been parked so irresponsibly close to another car that I was forced to climb in through the passenger side. That alone speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and care at this location. I then asked Gabrielle if my wife’s tire could be repaired the same day. Hours later, I received a call saying it could not be patched and would need to be replaced. I was quoted an outrageous $389 for a single, standard tire. This is not just inflated—it is indefensible. A quick search shows that same tire sells elsewhere for roughly $156–$267. Despite knowing I would be walking to pick up the vehicle, Gabrielle left it sitting in the lot completely flat and undrivable. He agreed to move it into a service bay overnight but failed to do so. The next day, the vehicle was repaired, yet I received no call or communication whatsoever. Looking at the full picture, this was not a one-off issue—it was a consistent pattern: • Excessive, unjustified pricing • Careless handling of customer vehicles • Poor communication • Failure to follow through on basic commitments Even during my previous visit in March, my key FOB was returned missing the carabiner clip. At the time, I gave the benefit of the doubt. That was clearly a mistake. This experience reflects a business that either cannot or will not operate with integrity. Charging nearly double for simple services and hundreds above market value for a tire raises serious concerns about unethical practices. I will be escalating this matter to the Florida State Attorney’s Office.

    1:30pm tire plug did not go as planned. Not usually one to review and complain... I was recommended to go here. Given an hour quote. Was told they broke the valve stem 1.5hr in. Another 1.5hr later I check out after they rushed a replacement part over. No offer of a discount, paid full for the patch. $45 or so. Friendly lady behind the desk. No bad blood, I moved on. Things happen. On the way home noticed the tire was overinflated 6-7lbs. Cross checked it with a gauge once I got home. Not a hard thing to get right, one bit. Clumsy... Careless... lacking focus? At least for a place with Tires in the name. I don't like unsolicited performance reviews either, so I hope you guys can improve the rough edges.

    Best experience I’ve ever had at a car shop. Carol and Big Skii were extremely detailed when it came to inspecting my vehicle. I have had a lot of work done on my car but felt some things were off with my previous car shop. Will be coming here from this point forward because of the honest and kind staff. It’s nice to be finally be able to trust the work that’s being done to my car.

    I arrived right at closing and Catherine was so kind. I had just spent 2 hours waiting on AAA to have my tire changed after running over a pair of pliers. She checked the inventory and advised they did not have my tire but would have it the next morning. Catherine called when it arrived and I told her my ETA. She welcomed me when I walked in and was very friendly. I was out the door in less than 1 hour. I would highly recommend.

    UPDATE: Please avoid this location at all costs. I have revised to one star because I contacted Gabriel, the manager, to tell him that I was sending an email for escalation, because a subsequent shop - the dealership - found that the OIL DRAIN PLUG HAD BEEN LEFT LOOSE. So, I was correct that the mechanic was unhinged enough to have done serious damage to my vehicle. He also clearly never did the balance and alignment. More concerning is the fact that I can’t find a charge for this on my credit card, and it had initially been billed to another vehicle, so I had to return to have the invoice corrected. I’m still trying to figure out what all that means. I wish that zero stars were an option. I do not recommend this location. If it weren’t for Gabriel, the manager, who was kind, I would’ve given it only one star. I arrived at 10:00 AM for a scheduled appointment to fix a nail in my tire and get an oil change. I was told the tire couldn’t be repaired because they didn’t carry that brand, so I chose an acceptable substitute. While waiting, I overheard a mechanic telling Gabriel that a Tesla’s tires had been rotated incorrectly, which clearly concerned the Tesla owner. Gabriel mentioned he was investigating who had performed the service. Later, I learned that Monro pays their mechanics extra for certain tasks, including upselling, and if they make a mistake, they are responsible for fixing it. By 12:15 PM, my car was still on the rack and no one was in the office. I went to ask the technician how much longer it would take, and he screamed at me, saying he had "a couple of other things come up," which meant my car had to wait. When I responded, "So much for scheduling an appointment," he became so irate that I was genuinely concerned he might damage my car in his anger. I'm not one to back down easily, but this interaction left me in tears. The technician filled a jug with oil, then took it to the back with him, which made me nervous. Gabriel had to reassure me multiple times that nothing else could have been added to the jug, as the technician seemed unhinged. I suspect the mechanic who worked on my car was the same one who made a mistake with the Tesla’s tires. To make matters worse, my other tires are low, and the tire light is still on. I will be taking my vehicle to another shop to inspect the tires and re-do the oil change because I no longer trust that the work was done properly. There are plenty of other tire shops nearby, including one directly across the street, and I strongly recommend using one of those instead.
