    I had a very concerning experience with Safelite at their Tampa location (6408 W Linebaugh Ave Suite 101 & 102). My original appointment was CANCELLED, and I never gave authorization for any work to be performed after that. While I was actively on the phone with my insurance company arranging service with a different provider, Safelite proceeded to replace my windshield WITHOUT my knowledge or consent. I received no notification, no call, and no approval request. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was told by the technician (Troy Thomas) that the work order had been deleted from the system, which raised serious concerns about how this was handled internally. In addition, the interaction was unprofessional and disrespectful. I was also informed that the store manager (Allie Jawors) was not present at the time. After the incident, my concerns were not properly addressed, and no clear explanation was provided as to how or why unauthorized work was completed on my vehicle. Additionally, my vehicle was not returned in the same condition it was brought in, as the interior was left noticeably dirty after the service. This situation has already been escalated with my insurance company, and I am formally disputing any charges related to this service. Performing work on a customer’s vehicle without authorization is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to be cautious and make sure everything is clearly documented when dealing with this location.

    I did a drop off servive on my truck, to have an OEM windshield put in due to a crack, it was promised by end of day. The technician Miguel did an excellent job on my truck and even made sure my windshield was clean and truck vacuumed out. He recommend that the cowl be replaced because it was worn out due to wear and tear of the sun. It was an amazing experience and I appreciate the job he did.

    OEM windshield replacement/calibration on 2018 Acura TLX. Geico messed up my appointment but Kerri at the front desk was still able to get me in same-day. Garrett my tech even stayed late to get it done, clean install, thank you both!

    Dropped my car off for a Same Day Dropoff service to replace our windshield. The front desk person was standing outside talking on her cell phone this morning for a solid 10 minutes before she came in and acknowledged our existence. "You'll get texts throughout the day from the technician". NOPE. Not a one. Not a text. Not a call. Nothing. I call the 800 # at 4:30 (You literally cannot find a local phone number) and waited on hold for "Chris". 31 minutes later a highly disinterested Chris came on the line. 2-3 minute pauses of silence. Comes on at a 5:11 and says the car is ready but we have to be there by 5:30 or the staff will be gone. Thank goodness we made it in time. I STRONGLY encourage you to STAY AWAY from Safelite.

    I had a very bad experience with Safelite AutoGlass. Not only was the manager Ally, whom I dealt with extremely rude and dismissive, but I also left feeling embarrassed and violated. Technicians accessed my glove compartment and went through all my personal and private belongings. These items were clearly private and unrelated to the work being performed on my vehicle. When I tried to ask basic questions, I was met with very rude attitude from Ally. Customers should never be disrespected, and privacy should be taken seriously, especially when you’re trusting a company with your vehicle and personal items. I won’t be returning and would definitely NOT recommend them.
