They gave away my reservation & told me they wouldn’t have any cars for another 6 hours at least. - And said it with a smug smile. Didn’t attempt to help in any way other than saying i could go to the airport and get something. Cost me more to do that on the rental & they had no transportation to the airport so i had to get a $20 uber also. Yikes. Just disappointed businesses whose job it is to have cars… to have cars.

They charged me triple the amount that the other location charged me that was only 5 miles away$1,837.49. OF COURSE they didn't tell me, but when I found out they told me the other location was closed. I rent EXCLUSIVLY from National and I have never seen such BS. The downtown Tampa location SHOULD be avoided at all costs!! The Tampa locations in general leave a lot to be desired but save the aggravation and a TON of money and just rent from the airport.
