- LSLiz SAug 20, 20181.0I allowed a friend of mine to use my credit card for what was SUPPOSED to be a one week rental, and I went to the branch and physically signed for it...they continued allowing verbal extensions by phone for 4 weeks, and when my "friend" turned the car in, he was supposed to be switching the additional weeks to HIS card, but they allowed him to keep the entire balance on MY card without my signature 😡😡😡😡idk if this is SOP among rental car companies, but I am outraged that they weren't required to get MY signature for the final balance
