Booked a rental car months in advance, they did not have one available on arrival. They offered a different option and decreased rate at check in. When we arrived at the car pickup downstairs they did not have any of the different option available but noted one would be in 20-30 mins. That did not prove true and we ended up with a much smaller car but again tgey decreases the rate,. Car seemed to have an issue with the starter and low pressure light came on intermittently. Staff were polite and genuinely helpful and clearly getting slammed by holiday rush but why have a rental car agreement if it doesn't secure the vehicle or something similar. We were lucky we had a smaller group and alternate options for transport based on the people we were meeting in Florida so we could be more flexible. Larger groups/families were in a much more difficult spot.

I booked a van through Enterprise months in advance of our trip. The day before traveling, I received a confirmation email from Enterprise, which I promptly completed, confirming our van reservation. However, when we arrived at the airport Enterprise location, we were told no vans were available. Instead, we were offered a small car, which was completely unsuitable for six travelers plus luggage for a 10-day trip. To make matters worse, this exact situation happened to us last year on a different trip with Enterprise, arriving to find no vehicles available at all, despite having a reservation. This is beyond frustrating and unacceptable. A confirmed reservation should mean the vehicle is actually available. I will never book through Enterprise again. Save yourself the stress and hassle, unless you’re willing to risk not having a rental car when you arrive, don’t book with Enterprise.

Long time user of Enterprise. Unfortunately, my most recent rental was a debacle as they not only didn't have a vehicle fitting my reservation (made months prior), they only had Mitsubishi Mirage which for a party of 6 plus luggage isn't viable. They instead, rented me 2 of these and we made them work as they were our only option. I share not to complain, but to inform folks that just because you have a reservation doesn't mean they will have your vehicle or anything similar. My last bit of feedback, I was advised to contact the customer service, yet customer service when they actually answered informed me there wasn't anything they could do because they can no longer see inventory at the different pickup locations. Basically, no help whatsoever at no fault of their own. Enterprise needs to get their business model straightened out ASAP or they will lose more loyal customers. Looking for a new reliable rental car company.

Very poor customer service. Especially when im a enterprise plus member and have a commercial account through enterprise. Dec22, I flew on from baltimore with my family. They turned my id down because a little piece smaller then a 1/4in was broke off from where I had a new wallet 2 years ago. I have rented just a month before this vacation, I have gotten through TSA many of times, I have had my 8d this way for awhile and never was a issue any where else. Especially every other enterprise Sarasota, fort myers, myrtle beach, Baltimore, and so on. They literally turned me down from renting with them. For a manager and customer service to turn someone that has rented from only enterprise since I was allowed to rent and for us to be almost out of a car this was completely ridiculous. They switched to my wife's name but then I could not pay with our cards we had for this trip. As we are going through this with them another lady came right up with no reservation and they waved her deposit fee which she was in and out with in 5 minutes. And my id corner was not missing any important part. It had clear number, address, picture, and could be scanned perfectly. I was able to get a conceal carry license in one of the most gun strict state md with the same id.

I booked my rental online and skipped the counter, great experience! When I was leaving, I stopped to check out at the booth and the lady asked me for my credit card that I wanted to pay with and I told her that it should be on file from when I made my reservation and she confirmed that she could see it in the system but she insisted that I gave her a physical card to charge for the rental. I told her that I don’t have the physical card (digital Apple Card in mobile wallet) and proceeded to show her the information on my phone which was the same information that she was seeing on her computer but she was still persistent that I needed the physical card. I showed her the document from when I checked in online that stated I needed to bring the *card information* with me, nothing mentioned that I needed the physical card. She called over her supervisor who continued to argue with me about needing the physical card and that it is in their policy. I asked to see this policy, and when he returned with it, he acknowledged that it does not specify needing the physical card either. But still insisted as “that’s what his manager told him”. So I then asked if it is actually a policy or just “what the manager wants”? He told me there was no way for me to leave the facility without a physical card to pay for the rental. We went back and forth on this for a little while longer and until my daughter started screaming in the backseat, so I gave them a different card (I wanted to keep all go the expenses from this trip on one card for my accounting, hence why I used it in the first place). I later found out that this was a temporary hold and not the card for the final charges. None of this would have been necessary if they had told me that this was only a temporary hold and that I can pay with the original card when I returned the vehicle, that’s all that I needed to know but this gentleman didn’t tell me this at any time, instead just made up a policy to enforce. I have never had any issues with any other Enterprise locations in my 15+ years of traveling and renting vehicles, I have been loyal to Enterprise for years! I hope no one else has to experience this argumentative supervisor! Definitely not professional and not well versed in his own policy that he was trying to enforce.
