- SCshel clyattDec 19, 20251.0This is sad to say because I've been using this store for over 20 yrs but on the morning of Dec.19th 2025 I stopped In to have my trucks check engine light that just came on. I have been to this store many times to have to find out what code the light meant on my 2004 f150 then bought the part from this store and fixed it. But this morning I encountered a employee that had a really bad attitude and very unhelpful he hook his hand held to my truck got the code and he told me to take a picture of what was showing and then walked away I was a little confused because in the past the employee was always very helpful and informative. I ask this blonde middle aged employee what was it saying and his response was that I don't know im not a mechanic im a cashier!! That's not what I asked him but if your working at a auto parts store you should have some knowledge of automobiles you would think. He was very rude and unhelpful so I won't be useing this store or any of your store ever again with employee's like this. Again sad because I've been useing this store for half my life but this review most likely won't matter because you are hiring employee's like this... you don't care at least that's how it comes off.

The next day I found I was charged for both payments or $146.06. I went back to the store on Nov 28, they did not give any credit or attempt to rectify the double charges. I will not go back to this store again!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
