  Deceptive Practices & Dismissed Safety Concerns ​I had a very troubling experience at this shop and will not be returning. After having front brake work done, I returned a day later because of a loud squealing noise. They then claimed my rear brakes were "metal-to-metal." I had checked them myself and knew the rotors were fine, but they insisted on the repair. ​The red flags were everywhere: ​Missing Evidence: I specifically asked to keep my old parts. When I arrived, they claimed a "salvage guy" had already come and taken them. This was extremely suspicious as it prevented me from verifying the "metal-to-metal" claim they made. ​Hidden Repairs: A second shop discovered a new caliper on the front. While a caliper was listed on my Tuffy receipt, it was never mentioned to me verbally, and there was no charge for the new pads that were installed with it. ​Safety & Lack of Transparency: Because a caliper was replaced, the brake lines were opened. However, a "brake fluid exchange" or "bleed" was nowhere on my statement. When I told the staff the brakes didn't feel right and suggested they be bled, they brushed me off, were disrespectful, and tried to tell me my ABS system was going bad. ​Extra Costs: Because Tuffy dismissed my concerns and provided no documentation that the lines had been properly bled, I had to pay out-of-pocket at a different shop for a fluid exchange just to ensure my vehicle was safe to drive. ​This shop is distrustful and dismissive. They would rather blame your vehicle’s computer than provide transparent service or address a customer's safety concerns. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

  I took my review down because the manager called apologized and offered to refund the labor charge.

  I couldn't give it less. Website was awful. Couldn't find tires. Hopefully im the idiot on this one.

  Our technicians travel all over the US. We lost an Engine in Tallahassee.Ben at Tuffy’s gave us a quick diagnosis. Vehicle was not worth replacing the engine. Then Helped us find a salvage yard. Quick, friendly, efficient service is hard to find. Thanks for your honesty! If we ever have any vehicle issues in Tallahassee, Tuffy’s is who we are calling!
