  Hands down the best experience I’ve had with a mechanic. I reached out to Mike with multiple concerns about my car, and he told me to bring it by whenever I could. Even though I offered to leave it as long as needed, he managed to take care of everything the same day. What really stands out is how transparent he is—he walks you through exactly what’s being done and why, so you feel confident and informed about the cost, which is always very reasonable. Mike and his team genuinely care about their customers and go above and beyond every time. He’s helped me and several of my friends avoid so much unnecessary stress, and we all refuse to go anywhere else.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding, honest service you can trust I can’t say enough good things about Mike’s Garage. My daughter is a student at FSU and I live far away, so finding a mechanic I could truly trust was critical, especially when she had electrical problems on her Volvo XC60, and Mike’s Garage delivered 100%. They diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly, accurately, and without BS. Communication was excellent, I always knew what the problem was, what needed to be done, and why, all explained in terms I could understand. Most importantly, the pricing was very fair and there was absolutely no upselling or unnecessary work recommended. As a parent who can’t be there in person, that peace of mind is priceless. If you’re a student, parent, or anyone in Tallahassee looking for a mechanic who actually does what they say and charges fairly, this is the place. Highly recommended!

  When I tell you Mike’s Garage is a godsend, I whole heartedly mean it. From the moment I called them to get a price estimate, to the moment I picked my car up, I was incredibly impressed. I called Mikes garage on January 6th and was finally able to get it towed from the dealership (don’t get me started) on January 14th and the communication between Mikes garage was impeccable. I showed up to pick up my car and before I even told the guy who I was he said “You’re Whittnie, in the Equinox?” And I knew that I had made the right choice in going with Mike’s. People always say “shop local” and I never truly understood that until I experienced what I did at Mike’s Garage.

  My (now) husband and I lived in Tallahassee 13 years ago. My husband was friends (or so we thought) with Mike and he had offered to help us sell his car. We thought great, sounds good. Left the car with him and he stole it and sold it without giving us any money. We sued him and won a judgement against him but they couldn’t find any bank accounts to garnish the money. Well, I’m happy to say that 13 years later we finally got the check for the price of the car plus interest. Don’t trust this man unless you want to wait for the slow wheels of justice. Surprised he’s still in business lol.
