The staff were all helpful, friendly, and respectful, and the service report was very detailed. I appreciate knowing what has been checked and done on my car and the upfront quote for the basic cost for the service (with the understanding that the quote would need to be updated if any repairs were done). I also am impressed that the recommendation on my tires was tailored to my driving habits and included a recommendation for a reputable, cost-efficient tire store.
- LRLuis RodriguezDec 20, 20251.0Hi I am a 72 year old with a 2004 Ford Sport Track (84000Miles), I took my vehicle to Furrin Auto for an Engine Light on I also told Andrew to check an strong fuel smell (GAS) and the passenger side wiper arm has been disconnected .My vehicle had not being tampered with it. I always had take care my car. Andrew told me that it was going to be $ 159.00 plus other charges $182.00 for Diagnostic .I signed and I left (They insisted to leave the car and give me a ride home) I left the car on Tuesday if I'm not mistaken ,I drove by the shop on Wednesday to pick up some keys that I had left on the car (vehicle was open on the back yard)and I asked Andrew when they were checked the vehicle hi said we are going to try this afternoon. On Wednesday afternoon Andrew call me and told me that apparently the gas leak was from the top of the gas tank that will cost me about $318 for labor to bring the tank down ,at this time I had no choice because it was for safety. Thursday morning he stated they needed to change the Fuel pump and fix the line by the tank and now it will be $1695.81 My mind was blank for only to fix the leak and he then asked if I wanted to fix other items and he sent me that will cost me $4856.39 I reply not to do anything else because I notice that they were extremely price abusive .I ask Andrew for pictures of what they did or the old part nothing was given. In order to pay that abusive amount it will take anyone 3 weeks pay 120hrs to repair a gas leak on a vehicle .Andrew said that they use genuine Ford part The pump will it coast $225 in any other Auto part $160.00 . I will do my investigation to make sure that they place a genuine Ford gas pump. (A new gas tank will it cost $160)First time I being Rob with no Gun.
