- JPJoe PlahsNov 5, 20251.0Went to get an oil change, while I was there tech told me I had no transmission fluid on the dipstick for the transmission .I asked them to top it off, they said some excuse and couldn’t top it off. So I stop at a shop and ask them to check it. There was fluid on the dipstick stick when they checked it , meanwhile the tech showed me when I was at Valvoline no fluid on the dip stick (strange). So then the shop I was at noticed my supposedly new oil filter didn’t look new, it was dirty and looks like it been on since last oil change. and definitely looks like they didn’t change it. So I called them right away to tell them and told them I took a picture of it. They told me I saw them change it , which I did not. I did see them put the new oil in but not the filter. Then the tech told me they used a dirty rag to put it on (LOL). This was my second time there, first time was great, this time not so good ( different techs this time. I will not be going back to Valvoline, don’t want them touching my car ever again. Lost a good customer…

They were so honest, they told me exactly what my car needed without trying to sell me extra stuff. I got my oil changed and my battery fixed. My car actually needs a few more things, but I didn't want to do them right now, and they were totally respectful of my choice. That made a big difference! I really appreciate their service.
