    Charyet was fantastic. She tested my old battery and got me out the door with my new battery in less than 10 minutes! The new battery didn't come with a strap handle so she swapped it from the old battery.

    unbelievable, I come inside to ask to have my alternator checked and I had just seen the guy check it on another car. so he comes to and says NO we arenot doing it today.....this is the customer service they offer here.....dont waste your time

    On November 25 2025 after going to W. Oakland Park Advanced Auto which didn't help not even looked up my information. I purchased an alternator in August and had a replacement. W. Oakland Park referred me to the store I purchased it from to do the replacement. I called and they said once I come in with my receipt and core I would have to wait 24 hrs to get which was out of the question because I purchased the alternator in Dania Beach. Mr. Santiago also said I can call the store on Pembroke Road and 411 the gentleman there verified that one was available and advised that I can also have it done closer to me. I told him I went to the store and they didn't help Mr. Issac or Me. Isaiah not sure of his name and a lady supervisor. ( W.Oakland Park) I would have to take two buses to get to 441 location to please hold it for me. Mr. Chester ( 441 ) location advised to call the store on W. Oakland Park and try again which I did. The person morning shift picked up and he helped me find another store which was on North University but didn't want to do the transaction for me even though I said I will wait till the next day to receive it. Called the N. University store manager Ms. Fiorella was very helpful and she and someone from Pembroke Road said that W. Oakland Park could do the transaction and W.Oakland didn't. I had to travel on two buses to get to N. University to get my core exchanged. ( Actually 4 buses two buses to go and two buses to return home.) Thank you to the advance in Dania Beach, Pembroke Road and N. University five stars each. W. Oakland Park. Mr. George helped my son with a battery situation which lead to my core need to be replaced. The night shift gave me a hard time to put the battery back in the vehicle. They did help with annoyance. Three stars for the morning staff and no stars for the night. I hope those employees get in a similar situation and treated the same way.( Those two from the night shift) .

    This store is a joke. They wanted me to pay $150 for a battery replacement that was still within the 4 year replacement window. The first associate that started to help me acted like he was bothered by a battery test/replacement. The second associate that helped me after stated they could give me the gold edition but I had to pay a $150 “battery fee”. Their excuse was that they didn’t have that battery model anymore and I could be given a gold edition battery which was a model below the platinum that I had but somehow I had to pay. The associate stated she adjusted the price of the gold edition to match the platinum, which does not make sense if the gold edition is cheaper. I asked again why I had to pay for a replacement & I was told it’s a mandatory state fee associated with batteries. It just didn’t seem right & sounded like they wanted money for no reason. I went to a different advance auto store & the associates there had no questions or excuse for a battery replacement and went ahead and honored a free replacement. I wouldn’t trust this store again.
