I got a call and a email of a guarantee for my class a motor home and I drove 2 hrs round trip for 2 days just to be told they would offer 20% of the lowest price. I’m a rv technician and I do insurance claims on RVs that catch fire. We rebuild them and have to remove sut and ashes. They quoted me 4 different offers and I totally wasted my time for 2 days. I watched a girl answer phone for hrs getting cussed out by previous customers. She always said Shawn is something but available. Only people threatening with lawsuits she would go straight to him. I’m waiting on this compulsive lying person who trying to tell me repairs and I’m the 2020 2021 most efficient technician nationwide. Only back flagged 0.8 hrs out of 100s of thousands of billable hrs warranty, extended warranty, product warranty, inc write ups to everything. I washed new customers be on onsite and other side is dealing with lawsuits and water leaks. Shane is probably the worst manager I’ve ever seen because I already told him I worked for big dealership and he tried that smile with fancy words of salesman. I’m a master technician he learnt quickly that he couldn’t explain my questions. He’s really good at writing a huge bill with fees and make you feel like he’s doing you a favor

Went to this dealership because they had the used RV we were looking for. Everyone is great pre-sale. They do charge $399 for the walk-thru which most other dealerships offer at no charge. We were promised the broken shade in the bedroom would be replaced. They would order it and send it to our home. It wasn't ordered and all followup attempts have been futile, including 3 phone calls to speak with the General Manager Sean Collins. He is either in a meeting or unavailable and has not returned my calls. It is just a shade replacement, but their lack of fulfilling their promise on such a small item speaks volumes about their lack of integrity and attempts to maintain customer relationships. Take your business elsewhere.

Avoid Camping World – Severe Damage and Poor Service We took our 44-foot Class A motorhome to Camping World at Summerfield, FL at the direction of our insurance company after road debris from a truck tire blowout damaged the right side of our coach. We dropped it off on September 10, 2025 for rock guard replacement, repair of a couple of dents on the passenger side, new batteries, and roof maintenance. We were told the work would take a couple of weeks. It ultimately took nearly four months, and the coach was not ready until December 29. Because of this excessive delay, we were forced to cancel one trip and were unable to take another. When we finally picked up the coach late in the afternoon the day before a family trip to Arkansas, it was dirty and we were rushed, so we took it straight to storage instead of doing a thorough inspection. When we later inspected it more closely, we discovered multiple new issues that were not present when we dropped it off: • Passenger-side mirror badly damaged (chrome peeling, post bent/crooked – appears it was struck in their lot) • New scrape and dent on the driver’s side • Battery cable hanging dangerously low (nearly to the ground) • Two battery tie-downs dropped and dangling (tech claimed rusted nuts and said I would need to order parts from Fleetwood) • New stress crack in the upper corner of the driver’s-side windshield (after requesting seal replacement) • Steps would not extend due to main battery disconnect switch failing unless plugged in or running the generator Camping World’s response was unacceptable: • They charged us for parts and labor to fix a “blown fuse” that was clearly caused during their own battery work. • They buffed out part of the scrape but refused to repair the dent. • They denied responsibility for the hanging cable, missing tie-downs, windshield crack, dent, and mirror damage. I will admit that in my haste at pickup I failed to thoroughly inspect the coach at pickup. However, that does not excuse the fact that significant new damage occurred while the vehicle was in their care, and they took little to no responsibility for it. This experience unfortunately aligns with their reputation. Because of the poor workmanship, extended delays, and lack of accountability, I will never use Camping World again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Avoid this dealership! One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I felt like just a number or $ sign and the people we dealt with at the dealership, Shawn and Haley P., seemed like robots. No human element. Just talk and no follow-through. We were in contact with them trying to work out a deal for a few days, as we were very interested in a certain RV. Shawn and Haley P. told us 3 times total over the phone and by text that we would be contacted if someone was interested in buying the RV. Not true!! We texted one morning that we were driving down 6.5 hours to look at it. Haley said she was off but we were welcome to stop in. We called later in the day to confirm that we could see the RV and we were told it was sold. We were shocked! Why did Shawn and Haley say they wouldn’t sell it without contacting us first? If they wouldn’t contact us like they said they would, then they should have told us to put down a deposit to hold the RV. Shawn mentioned about putting down a deposit on the phone and that it would even be refundable if we didn’t want to buy it in the end, but we decided to not put down a deposit because they said they would give us a call if someone wanted to buy it, sort of give us “first dibs.” If we had known they would sell it anyway like words don’t matter, then we would have put down a deposit. Lesson learned there on our end. Some salespeople don’t mean what they say. Their excuse was that they weren’t there at the dealership the day it sold. Not good enough! When you say you’re going to let a customer know if someone else is interested, then do it! They also knew that we drove down from South Carolina, so when they weren’t working that day, they should have told the other sales people to contact us if someone was interested in buying it. We were never offered an apology, and the manager, Shawn, never reached out to us either, after he personally told us over the phone that he wouldn’t sell it without contacting us first. No integrity; all about the money and no care for people.

So I had a pretty frustrating initial experience with Camping World. We are just dipping our toes into the RV thing and are really looking for a used one. We are not going to be living in it or anything just looking for a toy to take out 4-5 times a year. We are looking for a budget friendly one here to get us started. We met with a young man, salesperson who asked all the typical sales bait questions like "What payment are you shopping for?" We said we are not shopping for a payment we are looking around 20-35k price range. We then go out to look at some and I ask "What is the price on this?" and I get an answer of "This one is at the top of your range", I jokingly said "That is not an answer". The next one I asked and he wouldn't tell me then he says it starts with a "4". I am 58 years old. I am not here to play guessing games or a shell game where I have to try to figure out where the real answer is. I'm sure these responses were how he was trained to respond. But we're all adults here. Treat me respectfully and I will certainly do the same. Now I wa s getting ticked off. In the end we saw one RV we kinda liked. Again this is day one of RV shopping for us so we are not buying today and we made that clear. He came back with the different break downs of what the payment is based on the different down payments amounts. We said that is not even close to what we are looking for. I then said "Even if the price was cut in half we would need to talk about it" and he says "Careful what you ask for, if Could make that happen would we have a deal?" to which I nicely said "No because that means you were trying to take me on the initial deal, you should have given me your best price first like we requested at the start of this". There were some more vague responses at which point we decided we were done for the day. I asked him to keep us in the loop if something comes in that he thinks might be a good fit for us and held my hand out to shake. I literally held it in front of him for (Yes I counted) 7 seconds before he finally reached out!!! Unacceptable. His finance manager came over in an effort to save the "sale" and we explained we were looking for a relationship. That this will be our first RV and if we enjoy the life we certainly have the means to upgrade in the near future so we need transparency and honesty and he said he understood. He was a pro and did a good job. The young sales person was visibly angry, literally like an angry pout. We walked out of what we were hoping was going to be a fun day starting an adventure and we just felt dirty, disrespected and mistreated. I know purchasing a car or RV or whatever from a dealership is generally a test of patience and bobbing and weaving their "Destination Fees", "Clear Coat fees" and all of the other BS they throw at you. In their case it is called "Great Adventure" package which includes them going over the vehicle to make sure everything is good (Shouldn't that have already happened and why would you charge me for it?) I guess I was just hoping this wouldn't be one of those. If anyone knows of an honest, straightforward company in Marion County please let me know. We have definitely pumped the breaks on our search until we find a fair place. So frustrating.
