    Customers should be cautious here and verify every recommendation independently before authorizing work. I came in for a wheel bearing replacement. The shop presented me with multiple add-on recommendations: front struts (claiming the bearing failure required strut replacement — it does not, the components are mechanically independent), rear shocks, and additional items. They quoted the wheel bearing alone at $400. I told them an SKF brand bearing on Amazon costs $100, and at that point the upsell pressure stopped — they did not continue presenting additional items they had been about to recommend. I later had the struts and shocks inspected independently. Both were in normal condition, no leaks, no damage. None of the suspension work they recommended was needed. Separately, I was charged 1.6 hours of labor for a brake adjustment, totaling $300. A brake adjustment is typically a 20–30 minute job. I have not received a clear explanation for the time billed. My advice: come prepared with part prices from an independent source, get every recommendation verified by another mechanic before approving, and request written labor estimates before signing. When I pushed back with verifiable numbers, the upselling stopped — which tells you what kind of conversation you are actually in. The work I authorized was completed, but I will not return.

    Jojo and Camilo is the reason for the 5 start 100% !!!! Awesome customer service and willingness to help in any way possible to see if they could help me get a tire of a rim when they could have easily said no ,we can do that like many others shops. Il will refer all the people I get for looking at there cars to them because they have what many other shops lack anymore…. Just willing to help and customer satisfaction!!!!! I meant to do this a week ago when they helped but got sidetracked… definitely had to take the time to say thanks for keeping real customers support alive!!!

    Camilo and Jesus are AMAZING!! I thought there was an issue with my tire and scheduled an appointment because I thought I needed a new one. Turns out, there was no tire issue. They were so honest and upfront with me. I’m always weary of auto shops because people say everyone scams you, so their transparency completely blew my mind. I can’t say enough good things about them. I will most definitely be coming back for any of my needs and listening to any recommendations they have in the future.

    I visited Mavis to have multiple services completed on my vehicle, including brakes, rotors, an alignment, and new tires. Initially, my car seemed to be running fine after the service. However, a few days later, I began hearing a metal banging noise coming from underneath the vehicle. I contacted Mavis and explained that I had recently moved and asked if I could bring my car to a different location closer to my home. They confirmed that I could, so I took it to another Mavis location. After inspecting the vehicle, they told me everything was fine but recommended an additional service costing approximately $400, which had nothing to do with the work that was previously completed. I declined at that time. Shortly after leaving, the noise became significantly worse. Concerned, I took my car to a local independent mechanic for a second opinion. I was then informed that the original Mavis location in Clermont had failed to properly tighten the bolts on my rotors, and the front driver’s side was missing a bolt entirely. As a result, the caliper was being held on by a single loose bolt and was close to detaching. This was an extremely dangerous situation, as it could have led to a complete loss of braking while driving. It is also concerning that the second Mavis location in Saint Cloud (this one)failed to identify this serious issue during their inspection. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Mavis. The level of workmanship and oversight in this situation was unacceptable and put my safety and my children’s safety at significant risk.

    I usually take my car to Tuffy on 192 or even to Mullinax Ford for services, but I decided to get my oil change here since I'd read great reviews for this place and it's right around the corner from home... However, I had a terrible experience and I can tell you I'm not coming back. I'll simply stick to what I know and where I can get good and polite service. I had made an appointment at 11am and when I got there this young man at the counter seemed lost, distracted and careless. He was focusing on everything else except his job and he even forgot to take the VIN number and the mechanic had to send him back out to get the number. They did not start my car until 12pm -one hour past my appointment-, and I understand delays, but was never communicated of it and I still had to make it to work. Over 1.5 hour later, my car is finally ready but when I brought the delay for an oil change to this young man and told him my appointment was at 11am, he started repeating himself like a recording "everybody has an appointment" ... But then the appointment system needs some fixing and you should not allow multiple appointments at once if you cannot handle the business because I waited as much as I would if I had just walked in with no appointment. Then this kid decides to get sensitive and tells me that "I do not have the right to talk to him that way"... Mind you I was not being rude, aggressive nor disrespectful, yes I was reasonably upset but never treated him any kind of way. It came across as entitled and a total victim. Management needs to know that this young man needs some serious training, coaching and maybe a reality check while we're at it. Like I said, a little delay is ok, but if you're running so behind at least have the courtesy to communicate it so that the client can take action if needed, and then don't play the victim card when it was clearly a delay because you were completely distracted from the beginning.
