  Thank you Josh and all the Mavis staff for your kindness, honesty, and professionalism! It is rare these days. This is my second time using Mavis for my auto needs, and I am beyond impressed. They are affordable, reliable, prompt, and professional. I'll definitely use them when needed for my future auto needs.

  I recently purchased a set of 33x12.5R20 tires and had them installed at Mavis. At the time of installation, I was informed verbally that they would not be able to perform a traditional balance and would instead use 6 ounces of balance beads per tire. I was assured that after approximately 50 miles of driving, the tires would balance out. Unfortunately, my truck continued to experience noticeable vibration at speeds above 50 mph every day for the following week. I returned to the store to address the issue, and they added an additional 2 ounces of beads per tire. This did not resolve the vibration problem. Ultimately, I had to take my vehicle to another shop to have the balance beads removed and the tires properly balanced using conventional equipment. While Mavis agreed to refund the original balancing charge, they declined to cover the additional expense I incurred to correct the issue. After spending $2,100 on tires, I was disappointed to have to spend nearly another $100 to resolve a balancing problem that could have been avoided had the proper equipment been available from the start. Based on this experience, I would recommend confirming a shop’s ability to properly balance larger or non-stock tires before proceeding with installation.

  This is the second time I’ve used Mavis Tires & Brakes, and once again they absolutely exceeded expectations. The first time was for a flat tire. I was able to limp in, and they had me in and out unbelievably fast. They properly patched the tire from the inside, which is the right way to do it, and got me safely back on the road in no time. Most recently, while moving to town with a U-Haul trailer, I had the joy of a dead battery in my Volkswagen Touareg TDI. If you know, you know, the battery is under the seat, so it’s not a quick swap. I called right before closing, and Josh answered my call. He was awesome, professional, reassuring, and got me scheduled first thing the next morning. When I arrived, Arnold jumped on it as soon as he started his shift. They initially quoted me a time, but then told me they might be able to turn it around even faster if I waited. Sure enough, Arnold completed the job quicker than expected and had me back on the road in about an hour. What’s even better is that when I first researched this location, it was the highest rated in the area. I later told my son, who lives locally, that this is where I was going, and he said, “That’s who I use. They’re awesome!” That says it all. Arnold and Josh delivered quality, value, professionalism, and truly made me feel like an important customer. This is now my first choice for anything our vehicles need. Thank you for the amazing service. Highly recommend!

  I brought my tire in with sidewall blow out— within minutes they showed me my options, had many options to choose from, and they offer deals if you buy two tires at a time! Domingo, the tire tech took care of me and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes!!!

  Above & Beyond. 🤩🤩 Dominic!! Star mechanic. This is the place, go through my reviews I don’t rave lightly. These are the guys who know there stuff, Front & back house. Who I watched deal with perfectly explain professionally kindly ask a few questions and figure out discounts for people who had no idea including myself. Clean perfect work done so fast my Starbucks was still hot. And yes it’s next door, hungrier? There’s Wendy’s on the other. No reason to ever go anywhere else. PERSONALLY: they saved a broke ass fool who broke his valve stem rushing at a pump and truly couldn’t have been more grateful to these guys.
