When I returned the car, I received a call asking about my experience. I explained everything, and the representative asked why I didn’t call during the rental. My question back was simple: why doesn’t the company proactively check in with customers shortly after they leave the lot to ensure the vehicle is acceptable? A quick follow‑up could have prevented 12 days of discomfort. She also mentioned that customers are told not to smoke in the cars. No one told me that, and she had no response when I pointed it out. On top of that, all the windows were smeared with a greasy film, as if wiped with an oily rag. This location needs to be proactive, not reactive. If they had reached out early and offered a replacement—or delivered a clean car—this could have easily been a 5‑star review. Instead, it’s a 1‑star experience.
