No I was not parked on the fuel island. I called the store to ask if I could finish my shower before I moved. Someone answered the phone then says hold and hung up on me. Wasted a shower because some lazy employee couldn't take 30 seconds to talk.

As soon as we approached, he turned his back to us and began chatting with a coworker behind the counter. We stood there waiting for a couple of minutes before giving up and returning to the original line. After he finished his conversation, he called us back over again. When I told him we had already been there once, he became defensive and insisted he wasn’t ignoring us, just passing along a message to his coworker. He offered no apology and came across as dismissive. Thankfully, Ted — the cashier who ended up ringing us up — was polite and genuinely apologetic, which made a difference. After leaving, another customer even commented that Richard “is always like that,” so it seems this wasn’t an isolated incident. Everything else about the store was fine, but that interaction was unprofessional and frustrating.
