  What a seamless event. This was. I filed a claim on line with my insurance company which directed me to Safelite and the next day some one came to my home.

  Seeing that I am not the first person to have to experienced disappointment. I will be brief and plan to expect nothing more than an apology other than a solution. Chad the technician was no where to be found at our scheduled time. Ignored phone calls and then only to be found in an adjacent parking lot hanging out in his van an hour later. Then the actual crack was fixed poorly and will have to fixed again. So, I will contact corporate as well as the BBB. In the meantime, I will wait patiently for my apology to this review. Knowing that is all that will be accomplished.

  Safelite was excellent through this experience of getting a new windshield. Fri the beginning, they communicated well and kept me informed through the process. Happy to us them in the future.

  They installed a new windshield and broke a piece of molding. After replacing it, I went through a car wash and water leaked into my vehicle due to an incorrectly installed rubber seal. While removing the windshield to replace the seal, they broke the molding again. Absolutely embarrassing company. UPDATE: The shop owner won't acknowledge the damage they're responsible for but they did respond to my review with "We're sorry for the trouble, Mark." That's it. That's the extent of what they're willing to do to fix the problem. Also, I've been in contact with Safelite corporate and they're willing to work with me at some capacity.

  The windshield repair itself appears to be fine; however, the overall experience was disappointing. When my technician arrived to drop off the vehicle, she was told that our appointment had been canceled. She immediately called me and placed me on speaker while I was on my way to pick her up. The explanation provided by the manager was unclear and didn’t make sense, so I let them know I would be there shortly to address it in person. After the call ended, my technician overheard someone behind the counter mocking me by repeating, “I’ll be there in 5 minutes.” It was clear they didn’t realize she could hear them, which was unprofessional and concerning. When I arrived, there still seemed to be confusion about the appointment, and the responsibility was shifted to the call center. After some time, they were able to locate a valid appointment and the glass they had previously said was not available. Additional staff training and improved communication would go a long way. The situation felt disorganized and unnecessarily stressful. I wouldn't go here again.
