  Not impressed. Car was dirty and tank not full. Additional charges almost doubled the cost of the rental.

  I’ve rented from National Car Rental many times in the past, but it had been a while since my last visit. As a member, I was used to being able to choose my car directly from the Emerald aisle, but this location was very different. I had to go to the counter, and even there, I wasn’t allowed to pick the car I wanted—even though it was clearly available in the Emerald aisle. It made me question the value of paying extra when Enterprise, located right next door, offered a much simpler process. The lady at the counter showed concern first and was trying to help but her manager was keep looking at her and whispering it to her which was very unprofessional. He didnt stop until the lady told me that I dont have a choice but to take what they are forcing it on me. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t match the VIP treatment I’ve come to expect from National in the past. It also seems like the website hasn’t been updated to reflect these new policies. On a positive note, the person who handled the return was kind, professional, and deserving of five stars.

  Was in a bind. Had car rental with Budget. Confirmation of one way rental then got to Budget counter. Lady refused to honor rental agreement due to one way. She was ignorant. Walked up to National. Lady very helpful however rental price was twice Budget but I was in a bind. I had no choice but to pay National price
