  This past Sunday, my son was involved in a car accident. I called from Miami, spoke with Steve, asking the details of the car, fees etc. Before I drove to Sarasota. I arrived to UPMANS after hours, and the gentleman in the tow truck heading out for a call, courteously stated I will need to come back in the morning. Rules are rules, I get it. The next morning, I arrived, without my son this time, and I explained I wanted to see the vehicles condition, take some pics, so I could determine how to remove the vehicle from his lot. He remembered me from our conversation over the phone. After taking photos, I asked a few questions concerning options, and had a pleasant conversation, considering the circumstances. I visited twice, before coming back the 3rd time to pay the balance and set up the 2nd tow, to the body shop of my choosing. From what I gathered, he works very hard. For future visitors, I offer this advice. Treat people with respect, and you will most likely receive the same positive energy in return. If your vehicle happens to be in their possession, just think, they were called by someone else, to provide a service, nothing more. So check your anger, before entering their property. I was thoroughly pleased, with the service provided by UPMANS TOWING SERVICE. Thanks for your help and assistance!

  They seem to be decent on the operational side of things, but the lady who answers the office phone is RUDE as hell

  Went through Geico for a tow to Sam’s Club and they scheduled through Upman’s. The driver showed up early for the appointment and was professional and super pleasant and friendly. He was even prepared with some extra materials to get my husband’s car up without scraping the front due to it being low. I wish I had gotten the driver’s name but he was great to work with. No complaints!

  Attitude from them is insane. Use others for better prices and better Attitude. UPsman does not pay their bills. We did service and never got paid. $240 was not enough for more drama. Disgusting behavior

  Let’s face it, most of the time if we need a tow, it’s because of something that has caused at the very least Aggravation. That was me this evening… this was my first phone call to set up a tow. I had a paper and pen and I was ready to call several. However, I was greeted with an angel on the other line an angel named Angel at That. She was so kind so understanding and just made this process unbelievably easy from the start. I ended up not needing a tow so I had to call Angel back and I literally felt bad. I felt like I was disappointing her lol but when I called, she didn’t act like it was a big deal or an inconvenience at all. She wished me well in the end and I can honestly say if I ever need a tow again…I will be making only one call again….to UPMANS TOWING. Thanks ANGEL. i’m not sure if you ever get recognition for what you bring to the business and from my what I read a family business, so I wanted to make sure that they knew the impact that YOU make. I assure you others have felt the same way! So thank you Angel! & thank you Upman towing!
