  What a great experience I had renting a one way vehicle from Alamo. The staff at both the pickup and drop off location were wonderful. Very attentive and kind. This was the most comfortable ride I have had for this drive in a long time. Made this trip so much easier. It was a nice new vehicle. I will definitely look to rent from Alamo again.

  Would give them zero if I could. Holding my $400 deposit fon4 weeks, does not respond, fraudulent company, avoid at all costs.

  Made reservations months in advance flew in they had oversold the cars no cars available no solutions offered. Manager says take an Uber and we will compensate. Well no replacement car offered and no compensation either. Poor customer service Just a feeling like you got scammed

  We rented from the Sarasota Airport in Florida and all went well and relatively simple. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and polite. The only issue we had was that a warning came on related to the car cameras (not a fault of Alamo) and when we returned it they made note of it and thanked us. The person who we talked to about the problem was Fred and he was also very polite.

  If you ever doubt that customer service still has a heart—meet Stephanie at the Miami Airport Alamo. After a company trip to Miami and a Royal Caribbean cruise, I made a last-minute decision driven by family. It was the week of my dad’s birthday, and instead of flying back to Texas with my team, I canceled my flight so I could get to my parents’ home in Florida. A simple plan turned into an emotional nightmare. After waiting 45 minutes in line at another rental company, I was denied a car because I only had a debit card—despite having cash, Google Wallet with my credit card, and a legitimate family emergency. I was told to Uber three hours across Florida. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and honestly crying at that point. I walked next door to another company and was met with more rigid rules and zero empathy. That’s when I looked up, saw Alamo, and met Stephanie. From the moment I explained my situation, Stephanie didn’t treat me like a policy number—she treated me like a person. She listened. She reassured me. She said, “Honey, don’t worry.” Within what felt like a minute and a half, she had solved what multiple other companies couldn’t—or wouldn’t—even try to understand. Because of Stephanie, I made it to my family. I made it to my dad. I made it home. Rules matter—but compassion matters more. Stephanie embodied everything customer service should be: calm, kind, solution-oriented, and human. Alamo should be incredibly proud to have her representing their brand. Thank you, Stephanie. I will never forget what you did for me that day. I told my family and friends we will ONLY use Alamo to rent cars moving forward.
