    Friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out experience. Car was equipped with EZ Pass to use the toll road if needed, which was helpful. When returning car, Alamo is the last exit when you are on the airport road: I turned too early.

    I use Alamo all the time but had bad luck with my last experience. I picked up my rental car and everything seemed fine. It was dark and I couldn’t really look over the car too well, especially under the car. As as we got on the highway we noticed a little noise under the car, but didn’t think too much of it because there was a lot of construction and thought it was maybe the road. As we went further along, I turned down the music real low and my friend and I could hear some noise from under the car when we went over bumps or hitting uneven surface. We didn’t hit anything or do anything that would cause the vehicle to make the sound. I took the car to Alamo in Gainesville the next day, and they said that the engine shield protector underneath the car was hanging down and I needed to put in a claim in order for me to get another rental. Not sure how long the car was like that, but I didn’t want to risk anything worse happening to the car while I had it. Now I’m responsible for paying my deductible even though I got a car that seemed to be not properly inspected by Alamo. Plus, the window was filthy and made it much more difficult to see at night. I tried to contact Alamo online and was told I would get a call back from a manager and still have not received anything. Very frustrating.
