- MHMs. HillMar 30, 20263.0I was told so many different stories by the employees about simply exchanging my battery through warranty. They couldn’t find my battery under my phone number. Also they didn’t tell me if my battery just needed to be charged or replaced. Had to go back in forth about 4 times. Mind you I had back surgery and it really took a toll on me. Never dealt with this at auto zone.

Also the counter personal have sufficient knowledge to look up the proper items needed. Another thing that's impressive to me is if they don't have a stock item they will contact another one of their area store availability. Confirmation is made and you can pay for this item before going to the other store and go in as a pick only customer quick service. They will recommend Orielly Auto Parts if they cant obtain a certain part

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
