  The only Pilot/Flying J that has a Midnight parking monitor that wakes you up if you park in an area not marked for parking... the yard is big but fills up quickly. If you park creatively and don't impede traffic flow, they still wake you up and tell you to leave. I was there 6 hours... then they woke me up and told me to leave. Traffic was not impeded but they still told me to go. It is illegal in all states to wake a sleeping driver per DOT laws. Federal Law says we need our rest to operate our vehicles safely. Had I been involved in an accident due to fatigue on this day, I would have sued this Flying J for waking a sleeping driver.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at the Flying J Travel Center in St. Augustine. This location is exactly what you hope for when you’re on the road—clean, organized, and well taken care of from top to bottom. The bathrooms were spotless, which is a big deal for any truck stop. You can tell they stay on top of cleaning because everything was fresh, stocked, and maintained. The showers were just as impressive—very clean, private, and comfortable, making it easy to relax and reset after a long drive. They also have a laundry area that’s convenient and well-kept, which is perfect for drivers needing to freshen up on the road. The lounge area is a nice bonus too—comfortable and a great place to sit down, recharge, and take a break. Overall, this Flying J has everything you need: clean facilities, a welcoming environment, and all the amenities like showers, laundry, food, and plenty of parking. Definitely one of the better stops along I-95, and I’ll be making it a regular stop anytime I’m passing through St. Augustine. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  The flying J truckstop at 626 st Augustine Florida has something real bad. It allows the truckers to park in front of the store where the cars and the motorhome is parked. This is really a hazard cause I’ve already hit one motorhome making a U-turn in the parking lot so headquarters needs to really look at this truckstop and put a sign out front. It says no truck allowed in parking lot before somebody gets hurt.

  The place has no food. All the food trays were empty and Subway had no bread. Yes you heard it rite. No frigging bread. They advertise all types of food online. Came here hungry and got nothing.

  Horrible experience!! I visited this Flying J #626 at 950 State Road 206 St Augustine, FL 32086 on March 8th, 2026 at 9:23 am. The manager Britnay told me to leave because I was there for a while, when I was paying for hot water. She tried to overcharge me for hot water and when I asked her why politely she told me to leave and never come back. She embarrassed me out loud and said I was there too many days, when I wasn’t. There are about 20 people there living in cars and RVS, and I only stayed over one night. I thought that was ok since there was so many people sleeping in vehicles there. She rudely told me to leave out loud to humiliate me. I told her I was a traveler and she said “well you can travel on”. I stayed quiet. Then I tried to get change for the hot water out my wallet and she mocked me and said if you can’t afford a penny I can give you one, but I told her I had pennies and I would pay. This behavior and verbiage was to further try to insinuate I was homeless when I am just a traveler. She also said this very loud to humiliate me. This upset my daughter who was standing next to me, she almost cried. It seems that Britney is picking and choosing who she overcharges and treats. I have observed people bathing in the bathrooms and camping there and yet I wasn’t allowed to buy hot water at the correct price and told to never come back. Never? For what? This is how they treat travelers and especially if you are a person of color. Beware!!
