- SSsmarcMar 9, 20261.0Horrible experience!! I visited this Flying J #626 at 950 State Road 206 St Augustine, FL 32086 on March 8th, 2026 at 9:23 am. The manager Britnay told me to leave because I was there for a while, when I was paying for hot water. She tried to overcharge me for hot water and when I asked her why politely she told me to leave and never come back. She embarrassed me out loud and said I was there too many days, when I wasn’t. There are about 20 people there living in cars and RVS, and I only stayed over one night. I thought that was ok since there was so many people sleeping in vehicles there. She rudely told me to leave out loud to humiliate me. I told her I was a traveler and she said “well you can travel on”. I stayed quiet. Then I tried to get change for the hot water out my wallet and she mocked me and said if you can’t afford a penny I can give you one, but I told her I had pennies and I would pay. This behavior and verbiage was to further try to insinuate I was homeless when I am just a traveler. She also said this very loud to humiliate me. This upset my daughter who was standing next to me, she almost cried. It seems that Britney is picking and choosing who she overcharges and treats. I have observed people bathing in the bathrooms and camping there and yet I wasn’t allowed to buy hot water at the correct price and told to never come back. Never? For what? This is how they treat travelers and especially if you are a person of color. Beware!!
