  We rented a car at the airport with National Car Rental, and overall it was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from the start. They initially gave us a car, but we realized it wasn’t big enough for our luggage and stroller. We went back, and they quickly switched us to a different vehicle without any hassle. Both cars were very clean and in excellent condition. One thing we really appreciated was that the cars didn’t have any strange odors, especially no marijuana smell, which is something we’ve unfortunately experienced with other rentals. Since we were traveling with kids, this was a big plus for us. The only minor downside is that you have to walk a few minutes from the office to the car area with your luggage, which can be a bit inconvenient. Other than that, the service was excellent and we would definitely rent from them again

  The customer service is terrible. Any question i asked was met with an "I can't, I won't or a no." I will recommend renting from another company if you have the option.

  Yvette had great customer service! Line was moving fast and she got us taken care of fast and on to vacation.

  Any other airport and you would hit the emerald aisle, stop at the gate and be on your way in minutes. Not at Punta Gorda airport ‘s national car rental. 40 minutes in line waiting for counter personnel, who obviously didn’t put any more effort out than they absolutely had to. What a miserable experience.
