- CMColin MaddenFeb 14, 20261.0I went to this location to return a splice socket kit i had purchased. I told a taller, younger employee why I was there and he walked me over to the counter to start the refund process. Then a shorter, fatter employee with tattoos approached. The employee refused the return. I continued to try to get the refund and he was being very disrespectful not only to me but also to the lady who had rung me up the day prior for the purchase. He said “ I dont know why she would ever say you could return it” and called her an “idiot”. Before leaving the store I said “have fun being a minion for Advanced Auto Parts for the rest of your life”. I must have hit a soft spot because he asked me to repeat myself, became very confrontational and demanded that I “come to the back of the counter”. I left the store, and the employee followed me outside, stood about 25 feet from my vehicle, and yelled for me to fight him. My friend, who was with me, saw the whole interaction, and I recorded it on video. As soon as he saw us recording, he retreated back inside. This man should never be placed in a customer service position again. I have already emailed Advanced Auto parts HR and Customer service. I will be returning tomorrow to speak to the store manager.

Maria is the only employee worth anything, she is the bread and butter of this location & deserves to be paid General Manager wages.

Does Advance Auto test and install batteries?
Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?
A traditional lead/acid car battery can range between $60-$120. The difference in cost comes from a variety of things, like the size of the vehicle or any special requirements needed from the battery, i.e. an increased resistant to cold or hot climates. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
