I stopped by one day and the gentleman took a look at my car and said he could absolutely do it, just to call in when I’m ready and it would be no problem. Easy Peezy. I got back after Thanksgiving, gave them a call and left a message… No response. Called again the next week, I left another message for this guy….no response. And I’m pretty sure you can guess what happened on the third time… no response. Each of these times I called I left a genuine message with a real person. Remind you there are probably 2 to 3 people that work in that small office. So today when I called, I told the lady I’ve called three times and he still has not me and it’s been about three weeks since Thanksgiving. She said, “you know he probably did not get back to you because we are so booked up and not taking in any new cars for service until New Year”. If that were the case that would have been fine. I would’ve marked January on my calendar and we could’ve moved on. Why didn’t they just tell me that upfront ? Is it normal for a customer to have to call and call and call again to spend money with you ? Transparency, Communication, and honesty go along way when it comes to building relationships with Customer. Joe Hudson you blew it on this one.
