    Great Service, arrived way earlier than expected, tech was great, knew exactly what he was doing. Setup and removed old windshield very quickly. Was very neat and clean, organized and happy. Great guy working for a great organization. Highly recommend Safelite Auto Glass.

    As far as this location goes, their customer service is pretty terrible- The kind of terrible that comes from absolutely no consequences for their actions. There is no way to communicate with anyone. The first tech said my windshield was “too broken” and that it would need to go to the shop. After going to the store in person, they assured me this other tech could do it. He arrived, looked at the vehicle and then left without saying anything. On the third attempt, they sent Max out from Ft Meyers and he was able to remove and install the new windshield without any problems. I would give them one star, but I have learned that the rating may reflect poorly on the tech that did the install and that’s not fair to him. Go to Ft Meyers’ location if you actually need the job done. This place is awful.

    Avoid at all cost. Safelite replaced my windshield and caused sensor issues with my vehicle and are refusing to make things right. The store manager is impossible to get ahold of along with the district manager as well. At this point Safelite is completely avoiding responsibility for issues they caused. After several months of trying to give Safelite an chance to make it right I’ve finally decided to leave a review.

    First, I was disappointed that there was no mobile service available in my area. To me, that is false national advertising! Secondly, I received a call just about an hour before they were going to close saying I needed to pick up my car before 5:00. The hours listed on their front door said 8:00 to 5:00. The person who called said they were getting ready to close and if I was not there by 4:45, I would have to wait for the next day to pick up my car. I was at work and had someone already coming to take me to get my car in about 10 minutes. I was leaving work early to do this. We made it there before they closed. But it caused a lot of stress trying to get there with “rush hour” traffic. Not at all easy.

    Safelight as an organization was easy to deal with. The technician who finally showed up was on time, and courteous. Dealing with the Port Charlotte office was not good. My first appointment was cancelled due to our windshield arriving defective. The appointment that was set for the next visit no one showed up nor did we get a phone call. When I tried reaching out to the office directly I was automatically put on hold then disconnected with an automated message that said they couldn’t take my call - goodbye. That happened multiple times. Corporate was very responsive to this complaint from us and did resolve our issue and got a technician to make the replacement happen. When they tried to contact the Port Charlotte office they ran into the same issue not getting through. I was happy with Safelight overall but not the office responsible for our repair.
