  Go across the street to Enterprise. I wish I would've read these reviews before I booked. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This Sixt location is the definition of bait-and-switch, rudeness, and terrible management. I am a Sixt platinum member and book all the time in West Palm, Boca & Boston and have never been treated so poorly at a Sixt as the Pompano Beach location. I booked an SUV days in advance for a work trip, but when I arrived, the car I reserved magically “wasn’t available” and nothing similar or in its class. Instead, they tried pushing me into a convertible or an X6 with a $99 upcharge. Classic bait & switch. The employee also made note to 'give him 5 stars' before I even got the car. After nearly an hour of waiting and them trying to give me a damaged X4, I finally got an SUV, making me late to pick up clients and attend a work event. I received an emailed survey and was honest about my experience. A few days later at drop-off, the same employee who checked me in, confronted me, no hi, hello, the moment I walked in demanding to know why I didn’t give him the 5-star review he told me to leave?! I was stunned. We went outside to the car where he continued asking 'why I give bad review?' and made me extremely uncomfortable as a woman traveling alone. Completely unprofessional and honestly unsafe behavior. Reprimanded me like a child for not giving 5 stars. I emailed management and received a call from Mark, the manager, and he was just as bad as the attendant. No apology, no concern, no ownership. He actually defended the employee’s behavior and argued with me that he was 'just trying to find out what he could do better?' lol! Then mid-conversation he suddenly said the sheriff’s department was there and he had “more pressing matters,” and said we could continue this conversation if 'I wanted to' and I said sure, he then hung up on me, not making any future time to talk or calling back. At that point it was clear: the problem at this location starts with management. I will be escalating my complaint to corporate, this is not the friendly, professional Sixt service I receive and expect at other locations. Rude staff, manipulative sales tactics, and a manager who treats customers with disrespect. Avoid this location at all costs.

  Very bad experience with this Sixt Station. We had a nail in the tire and they didn’t want to change the car even though the tire already lost pressure. They said they were sold out even though there were many cars in the parking lot. We pointed out that the tire would eventually go completely flat and the car would then need to be towed. The only response was that this wasn't their problem.

  We were lied to on the phone about insurance coverage and had to uber to a different rental location after unseeing to this one. Hands down worst experience I have ever had at a rental.

  I took a car from them that was broken, so they gave me another one that was also broken, they are very rude people and I recommend everyone to call the house and not take the car because they are very bad

  Very disappointing experience. Sixt is no longer the company once was . I booked an EV online i On their website and they didn’t event bothered to call or inform me that they don’t have it. They were just planning to push another car.
