- EDEbony Dunbar1 day ago5.0Had to come here today for a battery and I was already overwhelmed with the situation. I really do appreciate Matthew for staying pass his shift time to stay behind and help accommodate me with finding the right battery and also being humane and helping me out in my time of need I really do appreciate it. Even the manager that was on shift with him was very polite, kind and friendly. My daughter loved her hair! Lol. Also kudos to Mohammed for putting up with my difficult car and having to remove my airflow filter before putting in the battery. It was just an overall all around awesome experience and I really do appreciate the time and patience that everyone put in to get the job done thanks again.
- VBV BApr 3, 20261.0This place is the absolute worst. Incredibly unprofessional. We had a battery change service done here and the battery only lasted 6 months. When we returned recently to get help with this issue, we were met with two employees arguing over who would go out to assist. Even though THEY installed a faulty battery, they refused to do anything about it. And they very conveniently didn’t document the change in their system. Simply Ridiculous.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
