We rented with them recently and everything went mostly smoothly, with a nice car that met our needs. The problem is that this location is severely understaffed. In our multiple visits there, I've only ever seen two people working at a time, and they were both running back and forth between customers, outside to cars, ignoring all the people waiting in front of the desk. We were there for about thirty minutes before anyone even made eye contact, let alone spoke to us. So expect a long wait with no acknowledgment, and if you need to call this location, forget about it. My husband had some questions about vehicle availability before we went to pick up, and he called three times, to be put on hold immediately and the first two times he gave up after 25 minutes. The third time, after another wait, someone finally answered. Then, several days later, at the end of the trip with our car, we encountered a weather slowdown that would make us miss our return window, which was also their closing hour, 6pm. I started calling about 4:30, once it was clear we wouldn't make it. I ended up sitting on hold until 6pm, and no one ever picked up the phone. Literally an hour and a half and then they were closed. (Also, their "hold music" isn't music, it's the same fifteen-second voice commercial on repeat. For an hour and a half. Please, people, get some actual hold music if you're going to make callers wait for extended periods of time. Listening to that commercial on repeat is torture.) There was another wait upon drop off (during which neither of the two guys on staff ever answered a phone). Honestly, they were genuinely busy and looked like they were doing their best, but their customer-to-employee ratio made it impossible to get to everyone in anything close to a timely manner (though they still could have at least greeted us and warned us about the wait, which no one ever did.) They really, really need to keep more people on staff. And "Hello. Sorry, we're a bit busy, but we'll get to you as soon as we can" goes a long way. Most of us are pretty understanding.

⚠️ FINAL UPDATE (03/20/2026) — TOWED & REPORTED: The vehicle was officially towed at 6:27 PM. Here are the facts: 1. SAFETY HAZARDS: The car lost 37 miles of fuel in just 6 miles driven, with tire pressures as low as 26-28 PSI. It was too dangerous to drive back. 2. THE STRUGGLE: Enterprise REFUSED to pay for a tow despite the hazards. It took multiple calls from my insurance (USAA) to force them to authorize a safety recovery. 3. SHADY CONTRACTS: They manipulated pickup times to hide the 3 hours I spent in the lobby begging for a safe replacement. 4. OFFICIAL ACTION: Reported to NHTSA (Case #11725685), FL Attorney General, and BBB. THEY SELL DANGER. STAY AWAY. **************** UPDATE - 03/16/2026 Afternoon (8:00 PM): This is my second car from this location in 24 hours, and the situation is even more unacceptable. 1. Engine Issues Persist: Although the engine noise is slightly less than the first vehicle, it is still abnormally loud, indicating poor maintenance and a potential safety hazard. I have recorded the audio as evidence. 2. Irrational Fuel Consumption: I have attached two timestamped photos as proof of a mechanical or sensor failure. I drove only 6 miles, yet the fuel range plummeted from 83 miles to 46 miles. This is physically impossible for a healthy vehicle and suggests a severe fuel system issue or a faulty sensor. 3. Wasting My Time: I am a busy professional and a mother. I do not have time to fill out your generic "contact us" forms to hide your incompetence. You are billing USAA for "premium service" while providing dangerous, malfunctioning vehicles. I am documenting this publicly to warn other consumers and will be escalating this report to USAA and Enterprise Corporate. ************************************* ORIGINAL REVIEW - 03/16/2026 Morning: Unsafe Vehicles and Appalling Customer Service – Do Not Rent Here! I have wasted over 3 hours of my life at this location today, and the experience has been a complete nightmare. Initially, they tried to force me into a vehicle that was clearly defective. During acceleration, the engine made a terrifying, roaring noise—a major mechanical safety hazard. When I brought it back, the female staff member was incredibly dismissive, acted like I was imagining things, and flat-out refused to help unless I paid for an "upgrade" to a different class of vehicle. It is unacceptable to expect a customer to compromise their safety because of your poorly maintained fleet. To make matters worse, I am now being forced to wait indefinitely for another car to be "cleaned" while they watch me waste my entire Monday. The lack of professionalism and total disregard for customer safety is shocking. If you value your time and your life, avoid this place at all costs. I will be filing a formal complaint with USAA and corporate.
