Went to this location and the man behind the counter hassle us, saying our idler rollers are messed up, "I've worked in multiple shops and I know what im talking about" he said. Im in my shops uniform and he wants to start talking to me saying I should know what makes a belt shred, and I asked him not to bring my shop into this, and that is out of the question, he decided to catch an attitude, and got mad and told us to leave when I am just treating him how he treated us. Went to another advance auto parts, and the service was day n night, they had honored the warranty and were very nice. I hope this helps because no one should be treated like idiots and get thrown out the store.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
