My insurance covered everything, the windshield repair itself went smoothly, and I initially left satisfied. Unfortunately, when I picked up my vehicle, I noticed damage to my rear bumper that was not present prior to service. This damage 100% occurred while my car was in Safelite’s care. I took photos immediately and sent them to the Assistant Manager, Willy, who told me they would review the security cameras and follow up with me. That follow-up never happened. I have called this location multiple times and was repeatedly told that the Manager, Jenny/Jennifer, would call me back. I never received a single return call. I escalated the issue to Safelite’s customer service line, where the representatives were actually very helpful and attempted to contact the store directly, only to be told each time that the manager was “in a meeting” and that I would receive a call back — which again, never happened. This incident occurred on 10/21, and it is now December with no resolution, no communication, and visible scratches still on my car. I simply wanted my vehicle returned in the condition it was left — or at the very least, honest communication and accountability. Ignoring a customer after damaging their vehicle is unacceptable. Because of the lack of response and resolution, I will now be filing a claim against this location. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor customer service after the initial repair.

There were a few Tesla here getting new windshields. Seems like a design issue; maybe the unibody chassis flexes too much and fatigue cracks the glass is my hypothesis?? My glass cracked right in the middle and I don’t have even the slightest clue how?
