  I seriously don’t understand why these people even work at an auto zone. all of them. The manager sells me terminals for my batteries and I tell her to install them because I can’t break down before my shift at 3am she says okay fast forward 2 hours and 3 different terminals later she finally puts my old terminals (which she had destroyed in the process of removing and re-clamping) and gives me a jump and guarantees I’m good to go about my business. I come back into the store and I’m speaking to employee Robert about this whole ordeal who proceeds to compare my terminals to his 20yo Toyota terminals and how much better they are and how the only Nissan he would get would be if someone gave it to him for free. Unprofessional. I receive a refund not on my card but on a gift card which she insists I can use in any store. I arrive home and as soon as I turn the car off everything blacks out. I pop the hood and I see that the terminal connection was loose and as I explicitly mentioned to your store manager I do not have the tools required to work on my vehicle at the moment. I call them and confront them about this and they tell me that it’s an “internal wiring issue” I proceed to get in immediate contact with my mechanic who comes and takes one look and then takes to me oreilys auto parts since autozone apparently didn’t have battery terminals for a 2017 NISSAN SENTRA. I proceed and try to use the money they refunded to me on this gift card and they tell me I can only use this at autozone? After she insisted that I can use in any store? I return home and in a matter of 4 minutes my mechanic had the car running. Your staff is very unprofessional and truly completely ignorant in their knowledge around automobiles very disappointing interaction and I seriously suggest you do NOT allow them to work on anyone else’s vehicles. The manager out there in the cold talking about “this is my favorite part of the job,when I get to work on cars……” and then when I called her back about my issues she tells me “well I’m not a mechanic……” in the end they accosted me 300 dollars for the late night mechanic visit for a 5 minute ordeal….get your act together palmetto autozone I’m coming back for my refund on my debit card tomorrow

  I just stopped by AutoZone and had an amazing experience with Roger. I wasn’t sure about the correct size for my windshield wipers, and he was super helpful in finding the right ones and even replaced them for me. It’s been a long time since I’ve received such attentive and helpful service. Roger definitely deserves a raise! I definitely recommend this location, and if you do stop by, ask for Roger.

  When the competitor wouldn’t change my battery for being too “labor intensive”, the amazing team at Auto Zone Palmetto jumped right on it and had my battery changed in just 5 minutes! They were pleasant to work with and had great attitudes. Highly recommend.
