  TL;DR: Corporate sucks, no free top offs here, and make sure to ask how much a service will cost. $41 for three quarts of oil. Go to Walmart instead. Went in for a top off. I was told I needed a new oil pan gasket, and that was cause of oil leak. I stated that I would get a full oil change after I replaced it, (naturally). I was then asked if I still wanted it (top off) and I said yes. Oil goes in car. I was then rung up for $41 and I stated that I thought it was free because I was told I could get free top offs during last oil change. I was told no, hasn’t been that way in years. That’s when I find out that Valvoline has franchised locations and it varies based on that. How would I know. I pay the $41 and call ‘customer care’ later that day. Fast forward three days I call customer care again as nothing came of the first call and the first person I spoke too said that all they could give me is a 20% off coupon, and that the free top offs vary by franchisee locations. I then state I had no clue of knowing that. I am then offered to get a call back from manager of location and I say yes, please. On that call another corporate lady then tells me that corporate outlawed free top offs years ago due to rising oil prices and I state, and once again, how would I know that. Manager/employee who serviced me is on call and says that he assumes anyone coming in to get a top off knows of the costs affiliated because that would’ve paid for a top off before. Well, not me. I said I assumed it was free based on what I was told at my oil change two months prior at another Valvoline location. I also assumed that I would be told an estimated cost, or any cost for that matter, of services to be rendered. Not good enough as it appears the responsibility falls upon the customer to ask if and how a much a service will cost even though it was offered for free a different location bearing the exact same company name and signage. I state I could’ve driven two minutes to Walmart and paid $5 for a quart to last me. It seems corporate lady didn’t want to take any responsibility for one of their locations breaking policy, and giving me info which led me to believe I would be getting a free oil change at Valvoline locations. In the end, we got nowhere and I was given an apology by corporate lady, a 20% off coupon that’ll probably be useless since they usually have a $20 off coupon that can’t be used in conjunction with this.

  I recently got the oil changed in both my cars. Both times, even though it was busy and there were people ahead of me, everything went smoothly. I even recognized some of the employees who have been there for a while.

  We had the pleasure of using this establishment. I had a death in the family and needed to leave quick. Thankfully they were open on Sunday. WHAT A PLEASURE TIMMY, the assistant Manager, WAS. From the moment we drove up. He made it an enjoyable experience. He greeted us with a smile. Chatted us up while doing his job thoroughly. The rest of the staff we interacted with were just as incredible. This is our new go to place to take care of oil change needs. THANK YOU!

  I showed up towards end of day expecting tired crabby attitudes...they already had 3 cars in the bay, but techs were all great moods. Explained thoroughly what was needed..above and beyond. Jeffrey, and the team, were polite, efficient and a i was out of there quickly and happy
