- AIA iMar 25, 20261.0Over 2 weeks without receiving a return on a single item. The young men and women in the store have been absolutely helpful and friendly. This negative review is about a slow district manager, slow corporate policies, and a customer service number that is closed on Sundays and puts you on hold endlessly. Instead of answering me with a generic comment thanking me for my comment just fix this problem. Advance Auto can't fix a simple problem Imagine if the corporate office had to fix real world problems. Do better especially when you are surrounded by other Auto part stores in the same area. Corporate workers need training in customer no service. Advance Auto equals customer no service.

This is about the poor corporate communication and the 1980's computer system that runs the store. 7 days no return, poor communication from corporate, and a customer service line that takes 20 minutes to reach a person. The corporate workers could be replaced with zoo animals and would probably get better results.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
