- KKKevinNov 15, 20251.0Unfair Damage Claim After Quick Vehicle Exchange My name is Kevin. I rented a car from sixt on 11-05-2025. I originally reserved a RAV4, but they gave mea Jeep instead. Whitin three hours, I had to exchange it because the Jeep cause back pain. I returned the jeep in the same condition I received it -no accidents, no scratches, nothing. If I made a damage on the jeep, they couldn't exchange from jeep to RAV4. When I returned the jeep, they said everything was OK. So they could exchange from the jeep to RAV4. A few days later, I received a "damage notice" claiming I caused damage, even though I only had the jeep for a short time and did not damage it at all. I feel this claim is completely incorrect and very unfair. I have already filed a complaint with BBB and the Florida Attorney General because I strongly believe I am being wrongly charged. I hope sixt reviews this situation carefully and stops pursuing claims against customers who did not cause any damage. I am sharing this so others are aware of my experience. I truly hope Sixt resolves this matter properly.
